The Ministry of Finance of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas has received financing from the Inter- American Development Bank (IDB), toward the cost of the Citizen Security and Justice Programme, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

This is per industries in the Inter-American Development Bank 2012 Wages & Productivity Survey that reported their main difficulty in hiring new personnel being under-qualification at a rate of 34.4% or above7 and the Ministry of Public Works which is experiencing a growing need for qualified personnel in quasi-government corporations in the Electricity, Gas, Air Conditioning & Water Industry.
