Contract Title: SUPPLY OF SHEARING SHED EQUIPMENT

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security through the Government of Lesotho has received funding in a form of loan from OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) for the implementation of The Wool and Mohair Promotion Project (WAMPP) and intends to use part of these Funds for procurement of Shearing Shed Equipment.  

1.   The Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply and delivery of the following shearing shed equipment

2.   Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding ICB) procedures set out in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers – Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” – August 2018. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 

3.   A prospective Bidder requiring any clarification of the bidding documents may notify the Wool and Mohair Promotion Project in writing to the attention of:

4.   A complete set of bidding document may be obtainable upon payment of nonfundable fee of M1 500.00 at the address below: The method of payment will be cash only.

5.   Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10 August 2020 at 13:45 hours Lesotho time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on the same day at 14:00 hours Lesotho time. 

6.   All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of M 20,000 (Twenty Thousand Maloti).
